At Antico Casolare, we offer a peaceful vacation, in harmony with nature, surrounded by the greenery of our countryside, just a few steps from the sea, located in the outskirts of the tourist town of Sorso. You will have the opportunity to admire the wonders of Northern Sardinia, enveloped in the suggestive charm of the Gulf of Asinara panorama, recently declared a National Park and visitable with guided tours. We await you in our home, which dates back to the early 1900s and has been recently renovated, maintaining the structural characteristics of the time, to enjoy sunbathing on loungers with umbrellas, and the coolness of the evening while admiring the magical sunsets in the relaxation of our gardens or with the swaying of the large swing.
The large veranda with a barbecue and a large granite table, adjacent to the English lawn, will allow you fantastic moments of conviviality. In the morning, you could wake up to the crowing of the rooster from our small farm.
You can take advantage of a large, fenced and private parking area for your cars, motorcycles, and bicycles.
The Villa Antico Casolare - Vacanze in Sardegna consists of 5 bedrooms and 3 kitchen areas, including: 3 double bedrooms with their own private bathroom with a shower, the possibility of a cot, hot/cold air conditioning, TV, garden view; 1 triple bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, with its own private bathroom with a shower, the possibility of a cot, hot/cold air conditioning, TV, panoramic terrace with a view of the sea of the Gulf of Asinara; 1 double bedroom with its own private bathroom with a shower, outside, ceiling fan, TV, garden view; 2 kitchen areas with a living room, equipped with everything you need (2 refrigerators with freezers, 1 gas oven and 1 electric oven, plates, dishes, cutlery, glasses, cups, kettle for tea, Italian and American coffee maker, etc.), a sitting area and a large convivial table, hot/cold air conditioning, TV, garden view.
The villa is also equipped with: 1 outdoor kitchenette with a kitchen, sink, and barbecue on the large veranda overlooking the garden; 1 outdoor shower; 1 washing machine.
Sorso is an Italian municipality with a population of 14,459, located in the province of Sassari, in the ancient region of Romangia in Sardinia. It is part of the Northern Sardinia Metropolitan Network and overlooks the Gulf of Asinara. The city boasts a social winery, as well as several medium-sized wine companies that produce high-quality wines. For its products, it has become one of the wine cities. Sorso is also renowned for its extra-virgin olive oil, typical bread called 'biscottù, and traditional sweets such as cheese and ricotta formagelle, cozzuli, fluffy biscuits, amaretti, and pabassini, among others.
From the city, you can reach the Marina di Sorso beach on foot or by bike, traveling along the long and illuminated Marina avenue, which is lined with trees and has a cycle and pedestrian path, often used for jogging. The Marina di Sorso is located in the center of the 18 km-long municipal beach. The cycle and pedestrian path continues for about 6 km towards the Platamona beach, passing through several seaside descents and the beautiful natural pond where you can walk along the bridges or do birdwatching.
The municipal coast includes about 12 km of beach and 6 km of cliffs. It is a white sand beach that, in many places, still preserves an intact dune system. Most of it is free beach, but there are also several beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas. For those who do not like the beach, there are 6 km of cliffs where you can fish or take photos/underwater fishing. The Marina di Sorso beach is suitable for families due to the safety of the sea for children, services, a small playground, refreshment points, restaurants, and pizzerias, as well as a water park.
The pine forest that runs along the entire coast is very popular for jogging and picnics.
